Our Mission

To assist families in the transition to parenthood by helping them nourish, nurture and enjoy their children in harmony with the natural rhythms of family life.

What Makes us Unique
1)       We believe in keeping the breastfeeding relationship simple and that your instincts as a parent are key to a successful nursing relationship. We work as a team to:
  •        Resolve breastfeeding issues and help you feed your baby your way.
  •        Use evidence based methods to promote breastfeeding and provide lactation support.
  •        Use the least amount of intervention, products and equipment possible for your situation.
  •        Work with you in your home to achieve your breastfeeding and family life goals.

2)    We believe that the early bonds are part of the evolution of your whole family.  We work as a team to:
  •        Provide ideas on how to balance work and family.
  •        Provide guidance on raising children beyond their nursing years.

All Nurslings consultants are IBCLCs and Moms who have nursed their own children. An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) is a health care professional who specializes in the clinical management of breastfeeding. IBCLCs are certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, Inc. (www.iblce.org) under the direction of the U.S. National Commission for Certifying Agencies. IBCLCs work in a wide variety of health care settings, including hospitals, pediatric offices, public health clinics, and private practice. (ILCA 2011)   Nurslings, LLC
