Nurslings is proud to be part of the conversation: Kidoinfo Hosts Conversation: Raising Community Minded Kids on May 25th at AS220 Join the conversation. This event will offer a discussion of how families, parents and caregivers can create meaningful connections to their communities and to impact real change in the world. To support the ideas shared in this Conversation, I am publishing a Community Minded Kids (CMK) Field Guide that will encompass ideas, resources, and examples of how families can engage in social responsibility. Planned in time for summer, the CMK Field Guide will include space for kids to reflect on their values and ideals, and make plans for a project that puts those values into action. In the spirit of Community Mindedness and collaboration, Kidoinfo is reaching out for your participation in the event and publication of the CMK Field Guide. Here is how you can help:
• Contribute action step suggestions to the CMK Field Guide 100 Ideas. (Deadline: April 25th)
• Attend the free event to meet like-minded community members and organizations
• Sponsor the Conversation and printing of the CMK Field Guide to help increase its distribution
• Support Raising Community Minded Kids with $25 donation.
The Conversation series has garnered a reputation as a fun and informative way for Kidoinfo’s readers to foster a deep and tangible connection to one another and their community. The Community Minded Kids event will also create a time and space for you to connect with local organizations and programs that are doing meaningful work to impact real change in our cities and state.
